The result, in the black and white “segment” reminded me of how dramatic the photography was in the original “Twilight Zone” TV series, in particular, night shots … I’m curious if after the filming, those episodes were exposure corrected, to darken the sky, thereby highlighting buildings or whatever the subject was! 🎥😀

Is your course still offered in 2024?

Set camera at MAXIMUM ZOOM LEVEL, approach as much as possible the subject, and than use lowest aperture level at that zoom level. Why does everybody omit this very important first part? For focus, DSLR use viewfinder, others, use manual focus, are feel lucky with PDAF. Also raise shutter at least above 1/125. Beside, not everybody shoots full frame.

I took it and learned so much. The best part about it is that he showed how to located the settings on a Canon camera which I have. Also he used other models which had the same settings. I hope he does more videos as I have seen most of them.

These are some pretty good advices for someone who's just starting. Is it possible to get some good results for taking photos of moving objects? Cars and motorcycles for example. My idea is going to a place that is known to have lots of people passing (usually traveling on bikes) stay still on a turn, waiting for them to pass and take the shots. My camera is a Nikon D40, and I only have the 18-55mm, so I feel it's pretty limited
